    ftrack has launched new native integrations with Cinema 4D and 3ds Max to its eponymous cloud-basedproduction tracking and asset-management system.
    The new integration plugins, which are free to users, join ftrack’s existing integrations for Maya, Nuke, Photoshop, After Effects, and a range of other industry-standard tools.
    View tasks and publish assets to ftrack from within Cinema 4DThe new Cinema 4D plugin adds an ftrack panel within C4D’s UI, enabling users to view tasks assigned to them, publish updated assets to the system and request supervisor feedback from within the software.
    It currently doesn’t enable users to create projects or tasks directly within Cinema 4D – they still have to be set up in ftrack first – but the functionality is planned for “later in 2016”.
    3ds Max integration with improved Alembic exportftrack integration with Autodesk 3ds Max is also now available in beta on request, featuring “similar functionality” to the system’s existing Maya and Nuke integrations.
    The integration provides improved Alembic export through Exocortex’s Alembic prebuild for 2016 and 2017, the latest version of its Alembic technology, which the developer open-sourced in 2014.
